Kate is the Mentor Communications Facilitator for the Byron Fellowship. She participated in the fellowship in the late summer of 2011. Kate recently started a new position with the City of Indianapolis as the Administrator of the Bureau of Construction Services in the Department of Code Enforcement. Prior to this position Kate had been practicing architecture and sustainable design in the private sector. While there she was instrumental in helping several projects reach LEED certification including Purdue University’s first LEED certified building, The Roger B. Gatewood Wing of the Mechanical Engineering Building (LEED Gold Certification). Kate is excited to be a part of the Fellowship and to work with the Mentors who help make this possible.
