Andrew Hamlet is a business professional who draws upon data science methods to glean actionable insight. In 2016, he correctly predicted the winners of the US Primary and General Elections using social media data. In the same year, he won the University of Iowa Analytics Competition.

Andrew now serves as Associate Director of Data Science at UnitedHealth Group. His previous experience spans both industry and academia: he provided strategy to Web 2.0 celebrity Perez Hilton as well as conducted research at the Harvard Psychophysiology Lab and the UNC-CH Behavioral Neuroscience Lab. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from UNC-CH, BA Psychology, and received his MBA from The Stern School of Business at NYU in May 2016.
