David is committed to challenging economic and race-based educational disparities in Boston through organizing and fostering an intensive, joy-filled youth orchestra. He is currently the founder and Executive Director of Revolution of Hope, an arts for social change youth orchestra giving conservatory level training to inner city youth in Boston. Through the vehicle of music he shares his vision for a more connected world. As a performer he has appeared with today’s popular artists including John Legend, Quincy Jones, Smokey Robinson, and Kenny Rogers. As a keynote speaker he has spoken at The Harvard Kennedy School, MIT, Imagination2013, the Babson Entrepreneurship Forum, SXSW V2V, Lean Gap, and Endevrr a High School Entrepreneurship program at UPENN where he was also a mentor. He is the founder of Ziryab Ventures a think tank for young entrepreneurs and is a producer on the soon to be released TV show Ambitious Adventures, which features millennial entrepreneurs. He has enthusiastically taught in many countries around the world including Bermuda, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Poland, and India. He believes that the intersection of innovation, community, and the arts can catalyze social change and propel economic growth in a city.
