Kumari creates opportunities to connect her love of learning and personal growth with initiatives that support our environment, workplace, and world. She holds a BA in Elementary Education with a Minor in Geology from Augustana College, is a Backpacking and Wilderness First Responder graduate from the National Outdoor Leadership School, and is an active Tree Tender at Keep Indianapolis Beautiful. As the Special Exhibits Coordinator for the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis she conducts family learning programs, hiring and training staff to do the same. In addition to assistant teaching three Rock Mountain Field Study trips for incoming freshmen through Augustana College, her geology field experience has taken her to conduct studies in New Zealand, Australia, Death Valley, the Grand Canyon, the Badlands, and the Rockies.
