Michael Lebwohl

Michael is committed to building a food system that respects and nourishes eaters, workers, and the world as a whole. Michael has worked towards this goal as an AmeriCorps VISTA at New Haven Farms, where he supported a mission of promoting health and community development through urban agriculture, and through extensive work with the Yale Sustainable Food Program, where he connected students and community members to issues throughout the food system. In his next phase of life, Michael is looking to bolster economic support for ecological food production in all its forms, and while he’s figuring that out has been escaping into meditation, running, and fantasy books.
