River is an advocate, environmentalist, artist, and changemaker; committed to creating experiences and environments where others feel cared for, understood, and supported. As an Intern for Byron Fellowship, River is focused on documenting the happenings of the annual program, and keeping alumni up to date on developments in the Byron Fellowship community. He currently studies social work at Warren Wilson College, with the goal of working in gender and art therapy. In his experience facilitating environmental advocacy groups and art collaboratives, to supporting summer youth programming and activities at the Columbus Metropolitan Libraries, River brings an empathetic and forward-thinking mindset to all that he does. River is dedicated to creating progress through hard work, collaboration, and mutual respect.
