Lauren Owen

Lauren is a community builder and outdoor educator in Brown County, Indiana, where she leads summer camp and school programs in nature, and is committed to exposing people of all ages to the many amazing parts of the outdoors. She also works to improve the camp’s fundraising and development programs. Lauren received her B.A. in History from Saint Louis University, where she was primarily focused on understanding the historical interactions of people in different parts of America, especially pertaining to the use of nature and land. Lauren enjoys kayaking, hiking, and baking, has been known to pull over to the side of the road to watch a good sunset.
