Hatim Hussain (he/him) — India — is a social entrepreneur whose career over the last decade has spanned the worlds of law, finance, and technology. His previous work building a financial inclusion startup received funding from organizations including Sequoia Capital, UNDP, Y Combinator, and SV Angel. Hatim has worked as a lawyer, philanthropy advisory consultant, academic, and Head of Quality for a regulatory intelligence firm developing suptech tools for governments. He later returned to the nonprofit sector, delivering technical assistance for financial services regulators with Financial Innovation for Impact (Fii). Hatim is committed to bridging social and economic inequalities through workforce development, and his current nonprofit venture aims to re-skill 50 million people in India within the next decade.
